Automatic Cabin Filter Production Line with Netherlands - Fournisseur de filtres d’habitacle HC-Air

Automatic Cabin Filter Production Line with Netherlands

The Dutch client is a fast-growing automotive filtration company headquartered in Rotterdam, supplying the Benelux aftermarket and several Northern European OEM service networks. With the EU’s tightening air quality regulations and rising consumer demand for HEPA and activated carbon cabin filters, the company needed to upgrade from semi-automatic assembly to a fully automated production line.
Their requirements were specific:
  • EU compliance: CE marking, 400 V / 50 Hz, IEC 60204-1 electrical design
  • Language: Dutch-language HMI for local operators
  • Media range: Non-woven, HEPA/nanofiber, and recyclable charcoal-free media (aligned with EU circular-economy goals)
  • Efficacité: Cycle time ≤ 7 s/pc, reject rate < 0.8%, changeover under 30 min
  • Fiabilité: Proven FAT with live demo before shipment
After evaluating suppliers across Europe and Asia, the Dutch team booked a flight to Guangzhou to see Hengchao’s facility in person.

2. Factory Visit: Automation That Speaks for Itself

Upon arrival at Hengchao’s Guangzhou headquarters, the Dutch delegation — led by their Operations Director — was welcomed by Mr. Peng, General Manager of Hengchao, and the senior engineering team.
The visit began on the workshop floor. The moment they stepped into the production hall, the Dutch team’s attention locked onto the signature green-and-white automatic cabin filter machine running a live demo on activated carbon media.
The Operations Director walked straight to the circular observation window, watching the full cycle:
  • Servo pleating with precise blade control on charcoal composite
  • Hot-melt frame bonding laying a clean, even bead — no overflow, no gaps
  • Auto edge banding locking the non-woven frame in one smooth motion
  • Precision trimming — white trimmed edges dropping neatly onto the green floor
A Hengchao engineer opened the side panel to fine-tune the glue nozzle pressure. The Dutch client leaned in, examining the mechanism closely. He turned to Mr. Peng:
“In the Netherlands, we value efficiency and precision. What I see here is a machine built with both. The edge banding is flawless — no manual rework needed. This is exactly what we’ve been looking for.”

3. Negotiation & Contract Signing

After the workshop tour, both sides moved to the conference room. Mr. Peng presented Hengchao’s technical roadmap, spare parts strategy, and after-sales support framework. Key discussion points:
Topic
Hengchao Commitment
Electrical
400 V / 50 Hz, CE-design, IEC 60204-1, IP54 control cabinet
HMI
Dutch / English bilingual, recipe storage by vehicle model
Média

The Dutch client shared their expansion plan: supplying the Benelux aftermarket and preparing for EV cabin filter tenders in 2026. Mr. Peng confirmed Hengchao’s readiness to support PU-frame and antimicrobial media modules for future EV programs.
The discussion was candid, efficient, and productive — very much in the Dutch business tradition. Within two hours, all technical and commercial terms were aligned.
The visit concluded with a contract signing ceremony. In front of the running cabin filter line, the Dutch Operations Director and Mr. Peng signed the purchase agreement, sealing a long-term partnership. Both sides shook hands, surrounded by the Hengchao team.
“We visited three factories in China. Only Hengchao showed us a running machine, explained every detail, and delivered a contract we could sign with confidence. The automation here is world-class — and the people are straight-forward. That’s why we chose Hengchao.”
— Operations Director, Dutch Client
